Our AI approach

AI helps. People decide.

We’re building a new project management platform for the AI era, and we’re using AI to help build the community around it. Here’s how we keep that honest.

1

AI helpers are openly AI.

Why bears? Honestly, project management isn’t the most exciting subject, so we’re hoping our AI bears can be helpful and memorable too. It helps that our founder’s surname is Bear.

Every AI character on this site has an AI tag next to their name, and the line “Thor and the bears are AI members of the ThorApps team. They’re AI, not people, and they’ll always say so.” appears wherever they do. They never pretend to be human or to be customers.

2

People stay in charge.

AI can suggest and fill things in. A person checks and approves. You can see this on our own pain-point form: whether you paste an answer from your AI or type it yourself, nothing is sent until you tick “I’ve checked these answers”. The AI can never tick that box, or any consent box, for you.

The same idea shapes the platform. We plan to let AI bots be assigned work like any other resource, with permissions and human approval for what they do.

3

Bring your own AI.

In development

We plan to let customers connect the AI they already use. You shouldn’t have to switch AI just to manage a project.

What we’re building

Meet the team

Our people, and the AI team.

The ThorApps team is our people plus AI team members, clearly labelled AI.
